The Center for Civic Education is currently hiring a Development Manager.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Development Manager is responsible for the project management and administration of the Center for Civic Education’s annual development plan. They will assist in the development and growth of diversified revenue through the Center’s annual fundraising strategy including individual donations, corporate partnerships, foundation and government grants, and planned giving, and support alumni engagement functions as needed. The Development Manager must demonstrate initiative, superior judgment, and extraordinary discretion while executing the requirements of the position, and at the same time, ensuring the use of best practices in their understanding of the highly confidential and sensitive nature of the position.

The ideal candidate will be collaborative but able to independently execute tasks with a reasonable degree of direction. They will have suitable experience in nonprofit fundraising, project and campaign management, cause marketing writing, and communications and demonstrate the ability to work productively on multiple projects, often with tight deadlines.
