Manager of National Programs, Job Description
The Manager of National Programs will engage with the Center’s dynamic staff and networks to manage the Center’s civic education programs. Reporting to the Vice President & Chief Program Officer and working closely with the Center’s management team, the Manager will apply innovation, creativity, and an equity lens to improve and scale programs that involve civic education leaders, educators, and learners across the country, including but not limited to We the People and Project Citizen. The Manager’s work will include conducting reviews and audits of current Center programs, liaising with Center Networks for stakeholder engagement, and leading teams of civic educators to edit and improve upon the Center's programs. The Manager will support in the organization and implementation of national meetings and events; engaging a variety of stakeholders with diverse perspectives and experiences; and fostering new ideas and initiatives to accomplish the Center’s vision.
