Brendan Oosse

Brendan Oosse is a 2014 We the People alum from East Grand Rapids, Mich. He received his undergraduate degree in American history, American literature, and politics from Hillsdale College. From Hillsdale, he became a teacher at Chicago Hope Academy, an inner-city Christian high school, where he taught American Literature, AP U.S. Government, and began a We the People program. In its inaugural year, the team took third place at the Illinois State Finals and was selected as the Warren E. Burger Class, being invited to the 2019 We the People National Finals. Oosse currently serves as the Director of Student Development at Chicago Hope Academy, overseeing college and career counseling, academic development, and technology.
