Want help solving a community problem? Look to Project Citizen students for guidance and leadership! The 2016 Project Citizen National Showcase displays the know-how of students to solve their own local problems through civic engagement. This year's classes dealt with a wide range of issues, including: improving city sidewalks; working with project Head Start; addressing student stress and mental health in school; and dealing with hidden vision problems of young children, just to mention a few topics. Each portfolio was evaluated three times. Achievement level results are based on the average score of the three rounds of portfolio evaluation during the national showcase.
Special Recognition to all the Project Citizen teachers and students in the nation for their work on Project Citizen during the 2014-2015 school year.
