The Center’s elementary-level We the People: The Citizen & the Constitution textbook is now available through the National Instructional Materials Access Center. NIMAC is a federally funded organization that makes print instructional materials easily accessible to qualifying blind, visually-impaired, or print-disabled students in specialized formats, such as braille, audio, or digital text.

Authorized users can find the We the People textbook by visiting the NIMAC website, clicking on the “Search” button in the upper lefthand corner of the website, and entering this code in the “Identifier” field: 9780898182613NIMAS.

Only authorized users can access files directly through NIMAC. Teachers, parents, or students seeking student-ready formats should contact the American Printing House for the Blind or Learning Ally.

The American Printing House for the Blind  provides large-format and Braille transcriptions of Center materials: 1-800-223-1839 or http://www.aph.org.

Learning Ally provides audio versions of Center textbooks for children with disabilities: 1-800-221-4792 or https://www.learningally.org/Home.aspx
